This is a site for thoughts and ideas that may not make any sense, or that may challenge your conception of what the world is or should be. It is also possible that you may accept the ideas posed on this site, in which case we will be in agreement.
This blog will be focused on placing world events, politics, sports, and various ephemera in a historical context. It will provide a counterpoint to the ahistorical, presentist thinking of much of the mainstream media.
